Sino-Telecom Successfully Participated in SVIAZ EXPO COMM Moscow 2016

The four-day SVIAZ EXPO COMM Moscow 2016 was successfully held in Moscow from May 10th to 13th. This is an annual information and communication technology exchange event of Russian Federation. The exhibition attracted visitors including operators, equipment manufacturers, system integrators and software developers from 35 countries and in more than 43,000 communication industries.

In the exhibition, Sino-Telecom showed the brand new OTN and FTTH end-to-end optical network solutions to customers from Russia and other countries. Among them, STN6800 OTN next-generation transmission network platform is established on basis of the existing SONET/SDH management function, which not only supports complete transparency of communication protocols and is with strong overhead and maintenance management ability, but also provides end-to-end connectivity and networking capabilities of up to 100G for WDM. It supports multiple customer signals encapsulation and transparent transmission, and largely improves the adaptive capacity and transmission efficiency of customer service with high bandwidth data.

For FTTH solutions, Sino-Telecom’s 10U chassis G/EPON OLT SAN3700 adopts the most popular architecture in the industry, and the 1U pizza box G/EPON OLT SAN3700-G16 is with the highest port density in China. It innovatively realizes mixed insertion of OLT and OTN line cards in one chassis. Moreover, it supports unified management, which can not only help customers to rapidly achieve simultaneous deployment of transmission and access network, but also can significantly reduce TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).


During the exhibition, Sino-Telecom’s end-to-end optical network solutions have attracted many customers’ favor, especially the OTN and FTTH solutions are amazing to customers visit the exhibition. The customers asked about the details of the products and are reluctant to leave. Some customers even took out cash and wanted to buy the sample equipment on site.
