32 Way Optical Selection Unit
The optical router of OSU is composed of optical switch and pilot circuit. Its main function is to select the output route through multiple channels (1 x 32). Its function is to carry out physical switching or logical operation for optical signal in optical transmission line or integrated optical lines.
It is mainly used in optical switching, configuration of Optical Add Drop Multiplexer (OADM), optical fiber ring protection and optical cross connect system. It can select different fiber cores with OTDR test signal to realize the detection of multiple optical fibers.
