On the afternoon of November 21, 2025, under the warm sunshine, the “Ten Years Chasing the Light, Embarking on a New Journey Together” 10th anniversary celebration of the Sino-Telecom Optical Transmission Team officially commenced.
At the beginning of the event, all team members visited the newly completed “Sino Cloud Corridor,” stopping to take photos at the four rooftop gardens themed around Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Surrounded by breathtaking rooftop scenery and panoramic views, everyone experienced firsthand the company’s new development landscape and expressed great anticipation for Sino’s even brighter future. Afterwards, the Optical Transmission Team gathered at the main building’s rooftop stage, where the celebration ceremony officially began in a warm and joyful atmosphere.
Sino-Telecom Chairman Tiger Xie delivered the opening speech. He reflected on the team’s ten-year journey, from its early beginnings to becoming an important player in China’s optical transmission industry. Although the current economic environment remains challenging, he emphasized that the company continues to move forward through strong R&D capabilities and ongoing expansion across telecom operator, enterprise, and international markets.
Looking ahead, Chairman Tiger shared the team’s long-term vision for the next decade:
“By 2035, we aim to achieve annual revenue of approximately USD 140 million and become one of the world’s leading providers of high-speed interconnection solutions for AI computing centers.”
He also encouraged team members to stay “active, healthy, positive, and motivated,” continuing to pursue technological innovation while maintaining a fulfilling and energetic lifestyle.
Jason Wu, CTO of Sino-Telecom and General Manager of the Optical Transmission Product Line, then expressed his gratitude to both the company and the entire team. He reviewed the team’s continued efforts in key technologies and products including PON, OTN, and DCI. Despite difficult market conditions, the team has continued to achieve breakthroughs in both telecom and enterprise markets, helping Sino-Telecom establish a leading position in China’s DCI sector. He also highlighted the successful launch of the company’s fully domestically developed 25.6T AI networking switch, demonstrating the team’s strong innovation capabilities and future growth potential. Looking ahead, he stated that the team will continue to focus on customer needs and technology-driven innovation as it enters its next decade of growth.
Founding team member Jun Xu shared his personal journey since joining Sino-Telecom. He spoke about the challenges, growth, and achievements he experienced over the years, and reflected on witnessing the Optical Transmission Team grow from a small startup team into a highly recognized industry organization. He expressed strong confidence in the team’s future.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the “New Decade, New Journey” flag ceremony. Accompanied by the slogan “Chasing Dreams and Light, Creating Greater Success,” the Team led all participants in running ten laps around the corridor track, symbolizing unity, determination, and a strong start to the next decade. Back inside the company building, everyone watched a special 10th anniversary interview video featuring memorable moments from the team’s journey. Team members shared heartfelt messages such as:
“We hope the team continues to grow stronger.”
“In the next decade, we will continue moving forward together.”
“We hope to attract more talented professionals and build even better products.”
These messages deeply resonated with everyone in attendance.
In the presence of all attendees, Chairman Tiger presented the team with a “10th Anniversary Commemorative Trophy” along with customized anniversary gifts. He also shared his expectations for the future, saying:
“All five of the company’s product lines have strong growth potential over the next five years. However, I especially hope the Optical Transmission Team will continue to take the lead and carry forward Sino-Telecom’s spirit of innovation and growth.”
The celebration concluded with a warm cake-cutting ceremony, where everyone shared the sweetness and joy of this special 10th anniversary milestone together.
After ten years of chasing the light, we remain grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey.
