The SCT9100-GBP Ethernet Bypass Switch is a new generation of intelligent bypass protection device, primarily used in the field of traffic analysis.
The SCT9100-GBP electrical port Ethernet bypass switching device is designed for 100M and 1000M Ethernet network bypass protection. It maintains network connectivity integrity when inline systems experience failures or undergo maintenance, supporting intelligent switching for various gateway devices (such as firewalls, IDP, UTM, intrusion prevention systems, spam email gateways, dedicated network auditing equipment, etc.). Compared to traditional bypass devices that only support pure hardware switching functions, the GBP offers more flexible switching methods, minimizing switching impact.
Supports 8x 10/100/1000M electrical port link aggregation for redundancy protection
Supports 1:1 protection group-level heartbeat, as well as N:1 and N:N heartbeat protection, meeting heartbeat protection requirements in backend load balancing and redundancy backup scenarios
Supports ACL (Access Control List) rules
Supports TAP (Test Access Point) mirroring ports
Supports port traffic statistics
Enables seamless, zero-service-disruption upgrades for backend devices
Supports warm boot (non-disruptive) device upgrades
Compatible with 100M, 1000M, or auto-negotiation ports, allowing flexible interface configuration based on backend analysis device ports
Features a user-friendly management interface with comprehensive CLI (Command Line Interface), SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), UDP socket API, and RESTful API support, enabling unified graphical management via NMS9000 cluster network management
