On August 21, 2025, at the 9th Future Network Development Conference held at Nanjing Shangqinhuai International Cultural and Exchange Center, the AIDC Interconnection System, jointly developed by Sino-Telecom Technology Co., Inc. (Sino-Telecom) and Infrawaves, was awarded the 2025 Future Network Leading Tech Innovation Achievement Award. The award fully recognizes its technological innovation in the domestic intelligent computing and communication sector.
The 9th Future Network Development Conference was hosted by the People’s Government of Nanjing and co-organized by Purple Mountain Laboratory, China Institute of Communications, and other institutions. Under the theme “Networking the World, Winning the Future”, the conference brought together leading global experts and enterprises to build a high-end exchange platform and drive technological breakthroughs and industrial collaboration in network communications.

AIDC Interconnection System
The award-winning innovative achievement, successfully introduces a domestic 25.6T AI switch and the VCCL communication library compatible with domestic GPUs, as well as the independently developed heterogeneous unified communication library FlagCX, filling gaps in the open-source ecosystem. Meanwhile, DCI-BOX It supports metro-area integrated computing power networking and achieves over 99.5% efficiency in 50km long-distance AI training.

Sino-Telecom has been deeply engaged in the field of optical transmission for over 10 years, accumulating profound product and technological capabilities. It has developed the DCI-BOX, an open optical network product designed for the interconnection of AIDC, and has achieved mass production of 400G/800G products. Leveraging its advantages of openness, energy efficiency, unified management, and ZTP, the company holds a leading position in the optical network industry, with cumulative shipments exceeding 100,000 pieces.

In terms of intelligent computing cluster tuning, through initial configuration, performance testing, and in-depth optimization, combined with key technologies including hardware acceleration, algorithm adaptation, and traffic control, the overall efficiency of cluster communication has been significantly improved.
This breakthrough overcomes the limitations of traditional network optimization and builds a high-performance network environment featuring an “end-network convergence” architecture, effectively promoting the large-scale, high-quality development of the domestic intelligent computing industry.

On the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Chen Wei, Vice President of Infrawaves, attended the conference closing ceremony and the Future Network and Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation Forum, where he received the certificate for the 2025 Future Network Leading Tech Innovation Achievement Award.

Mr. Liu Saiya, Director of Intelligent Computing Products at Sino-Telecom, delivered a presentation entitled “AIDC Interconnection System” at the 2025 Future Network Leading Tech Innovation Achievement Release Session. He shared in-depth insights into the system’s R&D background, product solutions, core advantages, and application prospects, attracting wide attention from the industry.

The award not only represents high recognition of the technological innovation achieved by Sino-Telecom and Infrawaves in intelligent computing networks, but also provides strong encouragement for their continued focus on intelligent computing networks. Going forward, Sino-Telecom will continue to uphold the philosophy of openness and self-reliance, and work alongside partners to jointly build a secure, efficient and intelligent future network.
