At the event, Sino-Telecom unveiled its 4U8-node Switch Server, a revolutionary product built on the core design principles of "high density, high performance, and high energy efficiency." Within a compact 4U standard rack space, the server innovatively integrates 16 Kunpeng KP920 high-performance computing modules, delivering a 300% increase in per-U computing power compared to traditional solutions.
The platform also supports advanced traffic distribution, aggregation, and flexible service scheduling capabilities, seamlessly merging network switching with computing acceleration. This breakthrough enables wide-ranging applications in cybersecurity, edge intelligence, DPI, and big data analytics, providing robust computing power to drive digital transformation across industries.
Powerhouse Collaboration: Charting a New Blueprint for Partnership
During the conference, Huawei Kunpeng and Sino-Telecom held high-level talks, where Huawei Kunpeng pledged full support for Sino-Telecom in expanding the application of KPN modules in DPI and cybersecurity, aiming to establish industry benchmarks.
Sino-Telecom expressed gratitude for Huawei Kunpeng’s strong backing and emphasized its commitment to leveraging Kunpeng’s full-stack technology. The company will focus on advancing "computing power networking and intelligent networks", utilizing KPN modules to deliver more high-density, self-controllable computing solutions.
