Beijing, China – September 22, 2026 — PT EXPO CHINA 2026 (China International Information and Communication Exhibition) was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing from September 22 to 24. This year's exhibition introduced a dedicated special zone themed "Envisioning the Future under the 15th Five-Year Plan: From Space–Earth Integration to Intelligent Computing," focusing on AICT industry innovation, intelligent computing infrastructure, green intelligent computing and large-model security. The event gathered leading ICT enterprises, computing infrastructure vendors and research institutions, creating a high-level platform for industry exchange and technology demonstration.
As a long-established player in China's information and communications and intelligent-computing security sector, Sino-Telecom was invited to exhibit at the 15th Five-Year Plan ICT Special Exhibition, presenting its full-stack AICT capabilities to government, enterprise and industry visitors on site.
Launching a Domestic-Computing AI Large-Model Security Guardrail
On the morning of September 22, Sino-Telecom and the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) jointly released an AI large-model security guardrail built on domestic computing power. Tiger Xie, Chairman of Sino-Telecom, and Shi Lin, Director of the Security Governance Department of CAICT's AI Research Institute, took the stage together to unveil the product, marking another concrete step in the two organizations' collaboration on trusted AI infrastructure.
The guardrail is designed to provide full-lifecycle protection for large-model applications, covering content security, data compliance and model behavior governance. Together with Sino-Telecom's domestically developed intelligent computing servers, AI gateways and private large-model deployment platform, it forms an integrated offering that enables enterprises and public institutions to deploy large models locally in a controllable, auditable and secure manner.
Building a Green Foundation for Intelligent Computing
As AI computing power expands rapidly alongside the dual-carbon goals, the localized deployment of large models faces prominent challenges: constrained power supply, high cost of power infrastructure, complex traditional UPS architectures, persistently high electricity expenses, carbon-intensive diesel backup generation and difficult integration of renewable energy. These constraints have become a bottleneck in intelligent computing construction.
Addressing this, Sino-Telecom presented its Green Wall energy-storage and distributed modular data center (DMDC) integrated solution. By combining distributed intelligent computing with green energy infrastructure, the solution helps customers shorten construction cycles, improve energy efficiency and lower both operating costs and carbon emissions, providing a greener and more sustainable foundation for the next generation of computing infrastructure.
Strong Engagement at the Sino-Telecom Booth
Throughout the three-day exhibition, the Sino-Telecom booth maintained steady visitor traffic, welcoming government and enterprise customers, system integrators and ecosystem partners from both China and overseas. The technical team delivered in-depth briefings and live demonstrations centered on the company's two core directions: domestic computing power + AI large-model security guardrail and Green Wall + distributed modular data center.
Looking ahead, Sino-Telecom will continue to strengthen its full-stack AICT capabilities across computing power, network connectivity and security, working closely with industry partners to build trusted, green and efficient intelligent computing foundations for customers in China and around the world.
