Reflecting on the Huawei China Partners Conference 2025 held in Shenzhen in March, Sino-Telecom, as a key partner in the Huawei Kunpeng ecosystem, showcased its flagship product—the 4U 8-Node Switch Server—at the exhibition. Featuring strong performance and an advanced system design, the product received the KPN Excellent Product Award. During the conference, Sino-Telecom also signed the KPN Partner Framework Agreement with Huawei Kunpeng, establishing a solid foundation for deeper technical collaboration and scenario-based solution development.
Following several months of continued R&D and deployment validation, Sino-Telecom achieved another milestone. In September 2025, the company was officially certified as a Huawei Kunpeng KPN Gold Partner, further strengthening its position within the Kunpeng computing module ecosystem.
With strong capabilities in hardware integration, solution customization, and end-to-end delivery, this certification marks the evolution of the partnership from joint product development to broader ecosystem collaboration.
Advancing Innovation in Computing-Network Convergence
The 4U 8-Node Switch Server introduced at the March 2025 conference is designed around high density, high performance, and energy efficiency. It integrates 16 Kunpeng KP920 high-performance computing modules within a standard 4U chassis, significantly improving computing density compared to conventional architectures.
The platform deeply integrates network switching with computing acceleration, supporting complex traffic distribution and aggregation and flexible service scheduling across the entire system. It is well suited for scenarios such as network visibility, edge intelligence, DPI (Deep Packet Inspection), and big data analytics, delivering stable and efficient computing capabilities for digital infrastructure development.
Expanding Strategic Collaboration
During the March 2025 conference, Sino-Telecom and Huawei Kunpeng held high-level discussions on future collaboration. Huawei Kunpeng expressed continued support for expanding the application of KPN modules in areas such as DPI and network visibility, aiming to empower Sino-Telecom to build benchmark solutions for the industry.
Sino-Telecom expressed its sincere appreciation for the continued technical support and ecosystem enablement provided by Huawei Kunpeng, and will continue to build on Kunpeng’s full-stack technologies. The company will focus on computing-network convergence and intelligent networking, while developing high-density computing products and solutions based on KPN modules.
In parallel, Sino-Telecom will expand its presence across key industries, including government, finance, energy, and education, while working with Huawei Kunpeng to further develop an open and collaborative ecosystem.
With its newly obtained Gold Partner certification, Sino-Telecom is well positioned to accelerate the deployment of Kunpeng-based solutions in computing-network convergence scenarios, further optimize computing platforms, and better align with evolving industry requirements.
Industry Recognition of Technical Strength
Previously, Sino-Telecom’s 4U 8-Node Switch Server stood out among numerous entries and was awarded the KPN Excellent Product Award by Huawei, in recognition of its innovations in computing-network convergence.
This award recognizes Sino-Telecom’s R&D strength and productization capabilities.
