Tailored to meet specific application needs, these transponders provide additional functionalities such as optical link protection and encryption, ensuring secure and reliable data transmission.
Sino-Telecom’s transponders/muxponder are designed for high integration and compactness, available in plug-in card form factors that support 1U, 2U, and 5U chassis. These units include mux/demux, muxponder, DCM, and amplifiers (for long-distance applications). The transponder slots are compatible with standards-based SFP, SFP+, XFP, and CFP2 modules, offering users a modular and pluggable solution for both service and line sides. This modular architecture allows for easy scalability, enabling the addition of new services by simply integrating additional optical components.

10G OTN Muxponder
The M2X16 is a 1U 10G muxponder device, capable of delivering up to 16 x 1.25G signals.
Client Port: sixteen plugable SFP (GE/FE, STM-1/4/16, OC-3/12/48, anyrate low speed)
Line Port: two plugable 10G XFP
10G OTN Transponder
The T20X is a 1U 10G transponder device, capable of delivering up to 10 x 10G signals.
Client Port: ten plugable SFP+ 10G (10GE LAN/WAN, STM-64/OC-192, FC8G, OTU2, OTU2e)
Line Port: ten plugable SFP+ 10G based OTU2/2e (DWDM/CWDM or Grey)
WDM Transponder/Muxponder Products
WDM Muxponder: Aggregates multiple data channels into different wavelengths for efficient use of fiber bandwidth in long-haul, metro, and access networks.
100G/40G WDM Muxponder
The OTU1H4 is a plug-in 100G/40G muxponder card, capable of delivering up to 4 x 25G wavelengths or 4 x 10G wavelengths.

100G/40G WDM Transponder (OEO)
The OTU6H is a plug-in 100G/40G transponder card, capable of delivering up to 3 x 10G wavelengths. It supports wavelength conversion (OEO), 3R (Reamplification, Reshaping, and Retiming), and optical signal amplification functions.
10G WDM Transponder (OEO)
The OTU10 is a plug-in 10G transponder card, capable of delivering up to 5 x 10G wavelengths. It supports wavelength conversion (OEO), 3R (Reamplification, Reshaping, and Retiming), and optical signal amplification functions.
