OMD48/OMD96 is a 48-channel or 96-channel dense wavelength division multiplexing and demultiplexing device from Sino-Telecom, primarily used in the field of optical communication.
OMD48 is suitable for core layer transmission in backbone networks and metropolitan area networks, meeting the requirements for multi-service bearer. It is used for high-speed optical interconnection between data centers, supporting single-wave 100G/200G/400G transmission, and meeting the requirements for short-distance and high-capacity data exchange.
OMD96 is suitable for high-capacity scenarios such as ultra-high-speed backbone networks, 5G fronthaul/midhaul, and cloud computing center interconnection.
