Reliability Design
The STN6800-D16 supports optical layer 1+1 protection for optical channels, optical multiplexing sections, and optical lines. It offers flexible protection options for linear, ring, and mesh networks, ensuring high security and reliability.
The STN6800-D16 also supports various equipment-level redundancy backups, such as power supplies and fans, with 1+1 backup.
Unified Management
The STN6800-D16 uses the NMS network management system. Based on a B/S architecture, the NMS employs multi-process, modular design to achieve unified management of Sino-Telecom's intelligent optical transmission equipment.
