The XNTN 1800, a next-generation service-carrying router developed by Shanghai Sino, is designed for metropolitan network edge deployment and serves as a multi-service access device.
The XNTN1800 (A2) is a self-developed service-carrying router by Sino, built on IP/MPLS protocols. Designed for mobile service delivery, it supports Layer 2/3 channel-based services while offering elastic scalability. The device enables data stream differentiation and Quality of Service (QoS) guarantees to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity. Positioned as a comprehensive solution for metropolitan access and aggregation, the XNTN1800 (A2) is specifically tailored for mobile bearer network aggregation layers. Featuring modular components including a switching master clock board, service line card area, power supply board, and fan section, it provides multiple interfaces (50G,25G,10G, GE, FE) to flexibly configure networks such as chain and ring configurations.
The XNTN 1800 supports a full suite of Layer 2 protocols, including Ethernet, Ethernet II,802.1x,802.1p,802.1Q,VLAN,802.1x,STP(802.1D),RSTP(802.1w),MSTP(802.1s, LAG/LACP, and more.
The XNTN 1800 supports unicast/multicast forwarding, TCP, UDP, policy-based routing, and other protocols. It also supports Ping, Trace, ICMP, DNS client, DNS Proxy, DHCP Server, DHCP Relay, DHCP Client, DHCP Snooping, NTP, and SNTP applications.
The XNTN 1800 supports multiple routing protocols including static routing, RIPv1, RIPv2, IS-IS, OSPFv2, BGP, MP-BGP, routing policies, ECMP, IGMPv1, IGMPv2, IGMPv3, PIM-DM, and PIM-SM.
The XNTN 1800 supports IPv6 ND, IPv6 ACL, NAT-PT, IPv6 PMTU, IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack, IPv6 FIB, and IPv6 tunneling. Tunneling technologies include manual tunneling, automatic tunneling, and GRE tunneling.

The XNTN 1800 supports LDP protocol, MPLS L2VPN, L3VPN, MPLS TE, and other features.
The XNTN 1800 supports OAM, including RFC2544 testing, Y.1731, BFD, Ethernet link OAM, Ethernet service OAM, MPLS OAM, MPLS-TP OAM, and TWAMP LIGHT.
The XNTN 1800 supports ACL, ARP protection, DDoS attack defense, AAA authentication, and SSH connection, ensuring comprehensive device security and preventing unauthorized access.
The XNTN 1800 supports QoS functionality, providing simple, complex, and hierarchical QoS mechanisms to ensure service quality.
The XNTN 1800 delivers precise frequency/time synchronization with physical layer clock synchronization (including Ethernet clock synchronization), NTP (Network Time Protocol) clock synchronization, and 1588v2 support.
1) The XNTN 1800 supports 1+1 hot backup power card configuration, providing dual power inputs (primary and backup) through two power cards. This ensures safe operation of the device even when either power supply fails.
2) The XNTN 1800 supports 1+1 hot backup for the main control board, enabling manual switching between primary and backup to ensure uninterrupted service and seamless hardware upgrades. When the primary board fails (e.g., power outage, reset, or malfunction), the backup board automatically takes over.
3) Support power input overcurrent and overvoltage protection to prevent equipment damage caused by excessive input current and voltage.
