STN6800-T20X: 10G OTN Transponder Card for STN6800 Platform
The STN6800-T20X is high density 10G OTN transponder (20 ports 10G) card. It adopts electrical-optical-electrical conversion to realize wavelength conversion and signal regeneration to realize encapsulation and decapsulation from 10 channels of 10G services to OTU2.
T20X is a 10G OTN Transponder board, which adopts electrical-optical-electrical conversion to realize wavelength conversion and signal regeneration, and further to realize encapsulation and decapsulation from 10 channels of 10G services to OTU2.
STN6800-T20X is suitable for STN6800 2U, 5U, 10U chassis.
●      The client-side port supports access of 16 channels of services at the rate below 2.5G. The typical services include STM- 1/4/16 and FE/GE.
●      The client-side port supports access to 10 channels of 10G services. The typical services include STM-64, 10GE and OTU2.
●      The line-side port supports 10 channels of OTU2 signals, with support for standard FEC and enhanced FEC error correction function.
●      The board supports cross-connection of OTN services and overhead processing functions.
●      The board supports GCC in-band management channel.
●      The board supports OTN electrical-layer protection functions.

 Client-side Optical Module  | 
 T20X board provides 10 client-side optical transceiver modules, each of which is pluggable packaing module (SFP+). Receiving Direction: Access client services such as STM-64 (OC-192), 10GE and OTU2, and achieve optical-electrical conversion function of service signals. Transmitting Direction: Achieve electrical-optical conversion and output client service signals such as STM-64 (OC-192), 10GE and OTU2.  |

 ODUk Mapping Unit  | 
 Realize the mapping/demapping process of client service electrical signals and ODUk (k=2) signals, and detect and process ODUk overhead.  |

 Realize the cross-connect function of client service signals of the board, or the client service signals of other boards which are transmitted through the backplane bus.  |

 OTU Framing Unit  | 
 Detect and process the overhead of OTU2 frame, and complete the multiplexing/demultiplexing process of ODUk (k=0, 1, 2) and OTU2 signals. Moreover, realize FEC coding and error correction functions.  |

 T20X board provides 10 line-side optical transceiver moduels, which are with pluggable packaging (SFP+), so as to realize optical-electrical conversion and electrical-optical conversion of OTU2 signals. Transmitting Direction: Access OTU2 electrical signals from OTU framing unit, realize electrical-optical conversion and output OTU2 optical signals. Receiving Direction: Realize optical-electrical conversion of OTU2 optical signals and output them to OTU framing unit.  |
