OLP

OLP is the optical protection board card of Sino-Telecom's STN6800-D16 platform, which includes single-channel OLP board cards and dual-channel OLP2 board cards. It enables real-time monitoring of the power status of service fibers. When the power value of the service fiber falls below the user's power threshold, it can automatically switch to the backup fiber. The optical protection system will provide users with a more stable, flexible, and highly secure transmission network. This system has been widely applied in backbone networks and important business routes. The difference between OLP and OLP2 is that OLP2 is a dual-channel version of OLP, but otherwise their functions and principles are the same.
