The optical router of OSU is composed of an optical switch and a pilot circuit. Its main function is to select the output route through multiple channels (1 x 16). It carries out physical switching or logical operations for optical signals in optical transmission lines or integrated optical lines. The optical router is primarily used in optical switching, configuration of Optical Add Drop Multiplexer (OADM), optical fiber ring protection, and optical cross-connect systems. It can select different fiber cores with an OTDR test signal to perform detection on multiple optical fibers.
Low insertion loss and high return loss;
Fast switching;
Supports digital display of the current channel;
Supports local sensitivity configuration via serial port.
Supports remote sensitivity configuration via NMS.
